Terms of Service
Effective date: 16 August 2026
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Version: 3.4
These terms govern your use of the Hudood website, mobile application, community, and market-data features. HUDOOD FINTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U66190MH2024PTC436439), a private limited company incorporated in India on 14 December 2024, operates the service under the name "Hudood" ("Hudood", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Hudood, you agree to these terms and the policies linked below.
1. Contact and eligibility
Hudood is for people aged 18 or over. You must provide accurate registration information and have legal capacity to accept these terms.
- Email: support@hudood.com
- Telephone: +91 88288 88664
- Correspondence address: HD-706, WeWork, Vaswani Chambers, Prabhadevi Road, Government Colony, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400051, India
2. Your account
Keep your credentials confidential, do not transfer or sell your account, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Hudood may require identity or age verification where reasonably necessary for safety, recovery, or legal compliance.
3. Initial free launch
At initial launch:
- Hudood is free;
- no new Premium subscription, paid plan, trial, upgrade, or in-app purchase is offered through this release;
- completing a profile records eligibility for a possible future Premium benefit but does not activate Premium or create a paid entitlement; and
- stock and crypto pages show market information but no HALAL, HARAM, Shariah-compliant, or non-compliant verdict.
Google Play subscriptions purchased before new sales were disabled are not automatically cancelled. They retain their existing renewal settings and may continue to renew and charge until the subscriber cancels through Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation, refunds, and mandatory consumer rights are addressed in the Subscription, Billing and Refund Policy.
Any future paid or Shariah-screening service will require a separate product release, updated terms and disclosures, and any approvals required by law. See the Subscription, Billing and Refund Policy and Finance Hub Disclaimer.
4. Community rules
You must follow the Community Guidelines. You may not use Hudood to:
- exploit or endanger children or distribute child sexual abuse or exploitative material;
- publish non-consensual intimate imagery, sexualized impersonation, or morphed/deepfake intimate material;
- threaten, harass, stalk, defame, impersonate, or unlawfully discriminate against another person;
- promote terrorism, serious violence, suicide, self-harm, trafficking, or unlawful goods or services;
- publish unlawful obscene or pornographic content, promote unlawful gambling or money laundering, or endanger public order or the security, sovereignty, or integrity of India;

5. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Hudood a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, translate, transmit, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Hudood service in accordance with your settings. This license ends when your content is deleted from active systems, except for copies lawfully shared by others, bounded backups, legal holds, and records needed to enforce rights or protect users.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content. Do not upload another person's personal or copyrighted material without authority.
6. Moderation, reports, and appeals
Hudood may review, restrict, label, remove, preserve, or disclose content and may warn, limit, suspend, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect people or the service, or comply with law. Moderation can involve automated signals and human review; neither is guaranteed to detect every violation.
You can report content or users in the app. Where an appeal is available, use the appeal route shown with the decision. Indian grievances are handled under the Grievance Redressal Policy, including acknowledgement within 24 hours, general disposal within 7 days, and the faster statutory lanes stated there.
7. Finance and third-party data
Market prices, charts, exchange rates, company information, crypto information, and community discussion may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. They are for general information and education, not a recommendation, solicitation, individualized investment service, guarantee, or substitute for professional advice. Verify information with an exchange, issuer, regulated professional, or other primary source before acting.
Third-party services and content remain subject to their owners' terms and rights. Hudood may change or discontinue a source or feature when rights, reliability, security, or availability changes.
8. Intellectual property
Hudood's software, design, branding, and original content are protected by applicable rights. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as provided. They do not authorize resale, redistribution, reverse engineering, circumvention, or commercial exploitation except where law does not permit that restriction.
Copyright complaints are handled under the Copyright Takedown Policy.
9. Privacy and deletion
The Privacy Policy explains Hudood's data handling. You may deactivate and request deletion through the app or the Data-Deletion Policy. Some limited records must be retained for security or legal compliance.
10. Availability and changes
Hudood is provided on an as available basis. We may repair, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits for safety, security, law, provider rights, or capacity. We will give notice where law requires it.
We may update these terms prospectively. The updated version and effective date will be published, and material changes will receive any notice required by applicable law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted; if you do not accept, stop using Hudood and request account deletion.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hudood disclaims implied warranties of uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.
Hudood does not guarantee user content, third-party content, market data, identity claims, or outcomes arising from use of the service.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hudood is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss caused by user content, third-party services, market-data reliance, or unauthorized account access not caused by Hudood's breach.
Hudood's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of INR 5,000 or the amount you paid Hudood in the 12 months before the event. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will reimburse Hudood for third-party claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful content, infringement of another person's rights, or deliberate material breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by Hudood or where consumer law does not permit it.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Hudood or request deletion at any time. Hudood may restrict or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, urgent safety risk, legal requirement, or service discontinuation. Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. Sections intended by their nature to survive termination remain effective.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to non-waivable consumer rights and any mandatory forum, courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction. Before filing a non-urgent claim, contact legal@hudood.com with the subject Legal Dispute so the parties can attempt a good-faith resolution.
Hudood is not offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, and most of its users are in India. If you use Hudood as a consumer in a country whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own courts, or entitles you to the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer rules, this clause does not take that right away. In particular, a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with equivalent rules may bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence, and keeps the protection of any mandatory provision that cannot be derogated from by agreement. Nothing in these terms limits a right that the law of your country of residence does not permit us to limit.
16. Entire agreement
These terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Grievance Redressal Policy, and feature-specific policies form the agreement for Hudood. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
