Community Guidelines
Effective date: 16 August 2026
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Version: 3.1
Hudood is an 18+ community for respectful conversation and learning. These rules apply to profiles, posts, comments, reels, direct messages, links, live or recorded media, and any other content or conduct on Hudood.
1. Safety rules
Do not post, request, promote, or facilitate:
- child sexual abuse or exploitation material, grooming, sexualization of minors, or content that identifies or endangers a child;
- non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual extortion, voyeurism, or morphed/deepfake intimate content;
- credible threats, terrorism, violent extremism, trafficking, or instructions intended to cause serious harm;
- encouragement or graphic promotion of suicide or self-harm;
- stalking, doxxing, targeted harassment, hate, or discrimination based on a protected characteristic;
- sale or promotion of unlawful drugs, weapons, stolen goods, or other unlawful services; or
- fraud, phishing, impersonation, account theft, spam, or coordinated manipulation.
Urgent child-safety material should be reported in-app and by email to admin@hudood.com with the subject Child Safety - Urgent. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
2. Privacy and dignity
Do not disclose another person's private contact details, identity documents, precise home address, financial credentials, medical records, or private communications without authority. Do not create an account or content that misleadingly impersonates another person or organization.
3. Authentic participation
Do not use bots, bought engagement, repetitive promotion, misleading engagement tactics, or coordinated accounts to manipulate reach. Disclose material commercial relationships where a reasonable viewer would expect disclosure. Do not present unverified claims as official Hudood announcements.
Label content that artificial intelligence created or substantially altered. The composer carries an AI-generated switch for this, and it covers text, images, video, and reels. Anyone can report a post that looks synthetic and carries no label; enough such reports hide the post pending review, and a post that already carries the label is not hidden this way.
4. Financial discussion
Community discussion and market data are not Hudood recommendations. Users must not use Hudood for pump-and-dump activity, fabricated returns, guaranteed-profit claims, undisclosed paid promotion, impersonation of a regulated professional, or solicitation of credentials or money through deception.
Hudood does not publish HALAL or HARAM stock or crypto verdicts at initial launch. Do not falsely label user opinion as an official Hudood compliance verdict.
5. Intellectual property
Post only content you created or have permission to use. Attribution alone does not create permission. Copyright complaints can be submitted under the Copyright Takedown Policy.
6. Enforcement
Depending on context, severity, history, and law, Hudood may reduce distribution, remove content, disable features, issue a warning, preserve evidence, suspend or terminate an account, or refer a matter to an appropriate authority. Severe content can result in immediate action without a prior warning.
Moderation combines reports, technical signals, and human decisions. A failure to remove content immediately does not mean it is permitted. A report made in bad faith may itself violate these rules.
7. Reporting and appeals
Use the report option attached to content, a profile, or a message. Include the URL or reference, the reason, and supporting information. You will receive a reference where the product supports it.
Indian intermediary complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and general grievances are disposed of within 7 days. Non-consensual intimate, nudity, sexual-act, or morphed/deepfake sexual imagery complaints are handled within 2 hours when they meet Rule 3(2)(b). Valid court or authorized-government removal orders are actioned within 3 hours under the applicable rule. See the Grievance Redressal Policy.
If a decision includes an appeal option, submit a concise explanation and any evidence. An appeal may be rejected if it is abusive, duplicative, or lacks enough information to identify the decision.
